Privacy notice
How Top Jackpot List handles personal data, written in plain language and aligned with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who we are (data controller)
Top Jackpot List is an editorial review desk publishing at topjackpotlist.com. The data controller for the purposes of UK GDPR is the publisher of this site, based at Oldham Road, Manchester, United Kingdom. You can reach the editor on privacy matters at [email protected].
2. What data we collect
We deliberately collect very little. The site does not require accounts. When you visit, our hosting provider records the standard server-log information, IP address, user-agent, referrer, timestamp and URL requested, for technical operation and security. If you accept optional analytics cookies, an aggregated anonymised record of page views and navigation paths is collected for editorial improvement. If you email us, we retain the message for as long as is reasonably necessary to respond.
3. Lawful basis
We process server-log data under our legitimate interest in operating the site securely (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). We process optional analytics cookies on the basis of your consent (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you may withdraw at any time by clearing the site’s cookies in your browser. We process correspondence on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
4. Retention
Server logs are retained for up to 90 days. Anonymised analytics records are retained for up to 14 months. Email correspondence is retained for as long as the matter remains live, and otherwise no longer than 24 months.
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We do not share data with operators. Outbound links to operator websites are direct, we do not interpose tracking redirects, but operators may set their own cookies once you arrive on their site, governed by their own privacy notices.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, to request rectification or erasure, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability where applicable. To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
7. International transfers
Our hosting and analytics infrastructure is located within the UK or the European Economic Area. Where any transfer outside this area is required for technical reasons, it is governed by the UK’s International Data Transfer Agreement.
